The ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) are provided with a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) sheath, making them highly resistant to mechanical loads such as movements in a chain. The connectors are overmoulded with TPE, and the degree of protection is IP67.
Superflex Xtreme cable features individual cores made up of 19 strands of copper, forming a diameter of AWG22. This design enhances the cable's flexibility compared to a standard AWG24/7 patch cable.
Stranded conductors consist of uninsulated thin strands of wire twisted together. The greater the number of strands in a stranded conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
