Compared to my Röbi (Roomba 980) convinced me the Roborock totally, at the beginning I was a little skeptical, but he also recognizes hanging in the air cables, power strips and the rest with which is advertised. Will still test the wiping ...

Compared to my older Samsung Naviboot (at the time it was the first vacuum robot that didn't just "stupidly" move from stop to stop) a huge quantum leap! For the first map recording, clear away everything that is not always in the same place (shoes, chairs, ...), then possibly work on the room layout, and then just let it do it! It reliably recognises all obstacles, mostly correctly (e.g. shoes as shoes) and navigates all around (I forgive it for recognising my wife's handbag as dog poo, it looks similar ;-)). It doesn't miss any area, everything is vacuumed very quickly with a good strategy. The suction power can be adjusted individually for each area. The only disadvantage compared to the Samsung is that you can't just put the hoover tube into the dust container to empty it.

We live in a house and have 2 cats.
In order to have more quality time, we decided to buy a Robi for each floor. I have liked the Xiaomi products for a long time and various tests have positioned the S6 MaxV with camera as the current top model. The Robis have been making their rounds in our EFH for 2 months now. We are very satisfied with the results. Roborock (subsidiary of Xiaomi) has actually done everything right. There are regular updates, the cleaning result is very good. We run the Robis every day, every other day we wet up and vacuum. It is impressive how much dirt still finds its way into the dust bin every day. We find the price/performance ratio very good. Other products are almost twice as expensive and not really twice better. All in all, we have not regretted our purchase and can recommend this model. There are very rare cases where the Robi "loads up" on tubular steel chairs, i.e. it can no longer get down or it locks itself in a room because it pushes the door shut itself. For those who like it even more price-conscious, the Roborock S5 Max is recommended. It has almost the same specifications but without a camera and is therefore around CHF 125 cheaper. However, we will get the same model again for the basement. (Hey Digitec, what about quantity discounts?) Update: Now there are 3 Robis... says it all, doesn't it? ;-)

the device is a 'laferi aunt'.
it chats everything (what it hears and sees), especially to amazon.com and to miliao or xiaomi.com (which is also home to wechat);
but this can easily be prevented by a firewall rule and then it only chats with the app installed on the mobile phone ... and then only sensible data exchange.
the routing is efficient and logical. and thus also energy-saving.
the maintenance is pleasantly well thought out.
all parts to be cleaned can be reached effortlessly and are provided with plastic spring clips that hold well and position as well.
short-haired carpets are no obstacle; not even when driving with only one drive wheel.

I had the Roborock S5max and have to say that this model is even more visibly better in terms of results.
