Product details

Category 6, with a bandwidth of 250 MHz, can be used for 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps Ethernet networks, up to a maximum length of 100 meters. Ten Gigabit Ethernet can be used for a maximum length of 55 meters. When the cables are bundled, due to alien crosstalk, the maximum length is only 37 meters. These data networks are, in addition to Ethernet, also applicable in many other protocols, such as analogue telephone, ISDN, ATM, Token Ring, and RS-232, up to a maximum length of 100 meters.
