This fan filter from Akasa not only offers excellent protection but also filters the airflow to minimize dust ingress. Both effects are achieved with a particularly fine-mesh aluminum net, which is installed in a rectangular frame with rounded corners. Positioned on the inside, it prevents even the smallest cables from entering the rotor, thereby protecting both sensitive fan blades and tiny cables from mutual contact. The fan guard can also be oriented towards the outside of the case, providing protection and dust filtration at the same time. It is especially effective when used with intake fans.

When mounting, it is important to note that the rectangular shape requires an appropriate opening in the fan slot if the fan guard is to be mounted on the side of the fan slot. The screws or an alternative fastening system needed for installation are not included in the delivery.
