PTT footswitch for connection to 6-pin CB radios such as the Albrecht AE 6491. The footswitch connects directly to the microphone socket of the CB radio. The handheld microphone is plugged into the connection cable of the footswitch and should be placed near the speaking person. When the footswitch is activated, it triggers the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button of the microphone. There is no need to hold the handheld microphone to send radio messages. With a 3-meter long cable, the footswitch can be installed almost anywhere in the vehicle.
