The pressure sensors of the MPS Pressure Series can be used in various applications. As level sensors, they are particularly suitable for large tube expansion tanks. In this case, the pressure generated by the water column in the expansion tank is measured at the sensor. The sensor is mounted at the height of the lower edge of the expansion tank (or lower) and connected to one of the lower connections of the expansion tank. Additionally, either the second connection of the pressure sensor (only for type Delta 40/100/500) must be connected to a fitting at the upper edge of the expansion tank in the area of the air bubble, or a pressure compensation membrane must be installed there (for all types). Connections and the compensation membrane are not included and must be purchased separately.
