The Slim HDMI KVM over IP Extender (KE8900S) is a compact, cost-effective, and high-performance IP-based transmitter (KE8900ST) / receiver (KE8900SR) that allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console (USB keyboard, USB mouse, HDMI monitor) over an intranet. The KE8900ST supports HDMI video input from the computer, while the KE8900SR supports HDMI monitor output and provides video resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200, along with error-free and lossless video compression quality with minimal latency. The extender also supports the "Virtual Media" function and serial RS-232 commands. To simplify installation, the KE8900ST transmitter features an additional DC power connector alongside a DC power input. The KE8900ST can be placed on a table, mounted on a wall, or – thanks to its space-saving 0U rack-mount design – installed on the back of a rack. Additionally, the KE8900S can be used as a point-to-point / point-to-multipoint / multipoint-to-multipoint extender or integrated into a KVM over IP matrix system with the KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM), enabling more flexible applications in various work environments.
