The DJI RS Smart Tracking Module is a compact add-on module that attaches magnetically to the RS 5 gimbal and enables subject tracking directly via the gimbal’s touchscreen. The module uses ActiveTrack technology to keep a selected person, vehicle or pet precisely in the frame, and can recognise the subject when it re-enters the field of view. This makes orbit shots, tracking shots and filming on your own smoother and more accurate, without having to touch the camera.
