The EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB - AM4 Nickel + Plexi is the new high-performance CPU water block in premium quality for the popular AMD AM4 socket platform. It features a next-generation socket-specific cooling system. This CPU water block is EK-Matrix7 compliant and is mounted using the patented EK Exact Mount system.
The CPU water blocks in the EK-Quantum Velocity² series incorporate the next generation of OptiFlow cooling. They utilize a special combination of mounting pressure and cold plate geometry tailored to the IHS and die layout of AMD AM4 socket processors. Thanks to the low hydraulic flow restriction, these products can be used in setups with weaker water pumps or lower pump speeds for even quieter operation, while still achieving peak performance. The twisted cold plate is precision-engineered to effectively cover the IHS and apply pressure to the die area.
