ESD - Electronics Safety
Fiberlogy ESD filament has been developed to protect electronic components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. The material has the property of dissipating electrical charges, thereby preventing damage and significantly reducing the risk of harm to electronics. Electrostatic discharges lead to high costs due to the destruction of electronic components associated with maintenance, repair, and the replacement of at-risk components. The purpose of Fiberlogy's ESD is to eliminate this risk. Therefore, the ESD filament is used for printing devices and enclosures, such as integrated circuits, sensors, connectors, and measuring instruments.
Fiberlogy ESD PETG filament offers a high capacity for energy dissipation, ensuring the safety of integrated circuits and other electronic parts while minimizing the risk of partial or permanent damage. The ESD PETG is characterized by high strength and resistance to weak acids, alcohols, oils, and gasoline. This material does not require a heated build chamber or a hardened nozzle.
Applications:
- Electronics: housings, covers, cases, enclosures, products with LEDs, connectors
- Tools or parts thereof: tools for working with electronics, tools for manufacturing electronic components
- Parts and transfer tools: machine components, equipment elements for employees and production facilities.
