Gelid Silent 12 PWM computer case fan

Product details
Designed for advanced users, the GELID Silent PWM fans provide additional airflow by using pulse width modulation (PWM) to automatically adjust the fan speed according to CPU load. The fan can be slowed down, making it much quieter. An intelligent IC has been integrated into the fan's PCB to leverage your motherboard's BIOS software. This technology is more efficient and convenient than using an external fan controller to adjust voltage.
Each fan blade has been individually balanced using state-of-the-art technology to ensure stable, even operation. To further reduce noise, fan mounts replace traditional screws and are made from high-quality, temperature-resistant, exceptionally durable rubber that prevents vibrations from the fan motor from transferring into your PC case.
How does PWM work? Pulse width modulation (PWM) delivers a digital signal. The advantages of using a digital PWM signal compared to an analog controller are:
- PWM control calculates the appropriate cooling performance based on CPU and system temperature
- The PWM control of your motherboard always adapts to the right cooling
- PWM control operates without generating heat.
