The 8330A 2-way speaker system consists of two 8330A speakers, a GLM 5 calibration kit, and a 9310A volume control.

The active 8330A SAM DSP 2-way speaker supports the GLM room correction system. It delivers performance comparable to much larger competitors but is exceptionally well-suited for situations that require high-quality sound reproduction in confined spaces. The 8330A is ideal for near-field monitoring in recording studios, project or home studios, audio workstation applications, radio or TV control room use, and outside broadcast vehicles.

The 8330A benefits from the acclaimed acoustic technology of its analog sibling, the 8030A. It is a bass reflex speaker, whose port flow characteristics have been optimized to minimize flow losses and noise caused by the airflow. The integrated DCW waveguide, coupled with the MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) soft shapes and contours of the enclosure, produces an extremely even frequency response not only along the acoustic axis but also in other sound radiation directions. Additionally, this technology enhances stereo imaging accuracy and reduces listening fatigue.
