The Hammond enclosures of the 1455 series are made from extruded aluminum and are designed for housing PC boards or device interfaces. Available with ABS or aluminum end caps. The black stable ABS version is easy to process and comes with an integrated mounting frame, while the aluminum version has two separate black plastic ABS mounting frames and matches the surface treatment of the enclosure. Designed for housing circuit boards or for device interfaces. Suitable for standard Eurocards. Horizontal mounting of the circuit boards by sliding them into internal slots recessed in the enclosure. Robust housing made of extruded aluminum (larger sizes include a removable "belly" plate) with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.
