The Hammond enclosures of series 1455 are made from extruded aluminum and are designed for housing PC boards or device interfaces. Available with ABS or aluminum end caps. The black sturdy ABS version is easy to work with and comes with an integrated mounting frame, while the aluminum version has two separate black plastic ABS mounting frames and adapts to the surface treatment of the housing. Designed for housing circuit boards or for device interfaces. Suitable for standard Eurocards. Horizontal mounting of the circuit boards by sliding them into internal slots embedded in the housing. Robust housing made of extruded aluminum (larger sizes include a removable "belly" plate) with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.
