Kentmere 200 is an ISO 200 black and white film with increased contrast, pleasant, well-controlled grain, and good sharpness, making it suitable for most applications and shooting conditions. This versatile film sits perfectly between Kentmere PAN 100 and 400 and has been specifically designed for those who prefer a more contrast-rich look. The film features a clear low-density base with a lower dmin value, allowing for higher contrast while preserving shadow details and ensuring well-controlled grain in the darker areas.

It is best suited for contrast-rich, everyday applications. Kentmere is manufactured in the UK by Harman Technology and adheres to the same strict processes as all ILFORD films and papers. All Kentmere films are panchromatically sensitized, suitable for darkroom development, and can be developed with a variety of different black and white film developers. They are available in formats 135 (24 exposures, 36 exposures, bulk length) and 120.
