Product details

The XCD 45mm is the ideal standard lens for the X1D. Its moderate wide-angle focal length corresponds to the field of view of a 35mm lens on full-frame, making it the perfect standard and travel lens. The XCD 45mm is equipped with a central shutter that allows flash sync speeds of up to 1/2000. The shutter, built in Sweden, requires no energy in either the closed or open position thanks to powerful neodymium magnets. Despite the extremely fast shutter blades, the shutter is extremely robust and has achieved well over 1,000,000 actuations under test conditions. This improved design results in very low vibration from the central shutter, which is particularly beneficial for long exposures.
