With web-based remote management, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader and MSL2024 Tape Libraries can be easily managed from the office next door or from any other location worldwide without the need for IT staff at remote locations. With the standard bar code reader, the configurable mail slots and exchangeable magazines tape media inside and outside of the library can be administered simply. Data encryption options can be used to protect important business data from unauthorized access in the event of loss or theft of tapes. Increase capacity and/or performance in the 1/8 tape autoloader or in the MSL2024 tape library with tool-less drive upgrades fast, or move tape drive kits into the MSL3040 or MSL6480, in order to use the scalability of the library and further functions cut to large enterprises.
