The iDSD Diablo-X from iFi Audio is a DAC/amplifier that utilizes revolutionary xMEMS technology. It features two Burr-Brown DAC chips and a 16-core XMOS chip for processing data received via USB and S/PDIF. To reduce interference, the Diablo-X uses a balanced analog differential circuit. This DAC/amplifier can easily drive various types of headphones and offers fully balanced 4.4mm outputs with a power of 4,100 mW. It has three modes for adjusting power and gain: the xMEMS mode for compatible earbuds/headphones, the Turbo mode for power-hungry headphones, and the Normal mode for most over-ear or on-ear headphones. A battery power supply ensures ultra-pure and stable DC to avoid issues with mains power supply.
