Product details
The Intel RealSense LiDAR Camera L515 is Intel's first version of a LiDAR camera that enables high-precision depth capture in a small form factor. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the L515 has a diameter of 61 mm and a height of 26 mm. Weighing approximately 100 g, it is designed to be easily mounted on any system or attached to a tablet or phone. Additionally, it operates at less than 3.5 W, which is significantly lower than competing Time-of-Flight (TOF) solutions.
All depth calculations are performed on the device, resulting in true platform independence. With a short exposure time, it captures depths from 0.25 to 9 m (tested at 95% reflectivity). It features a 2 MP RGB camera (RGB camera always on) and an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The camera provides up to 30 FPS depth at 1024x768 (XGA) and up to 30 FPS color at 1920x1080 (FHD). The laser is compliant with Class 1 standards, and the device accuracy is high.
