The Kathrein Feed System UAS 685 is a universal quad feed system with an integrated multiswitch for 4 participants. It is suitable for the Kathrein satellite antennas CAS 06/60, CAS 80, CAS 90, and CAS 120, and enables the reception of satellites in the Ku-band, such as Astra, Eutelsat, or TürkSat.

The system features an energy-saving typical power consumption of 1.4 W and offers high frequency stability thanks to the latest PLL chip technology. It provides excellent shielding against interference, such as from LTE mobile communications. Due to its compact design, multi-feed is possible, and reception is achievable even with smaller dish diameters.

The complete protection of the LNB and cable connections is provided in a ventilated housing with IP54 rating. The feed system complies with the Astra specification for universal quad LNB.
