The VP80ES safeguards against brute-force attacks and BadUSB with digitally signed firmware. To protect against brute-force attacks, the drive automatically cryptodeletes after 15 incorrect attempts to enter the admin and user passwords. The drive is FIPS 197 certified with XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, utilizing a secure microprocessor certified under Common Criteria EAL5+ (CC EAL5+) and is TAA compliant.
