Two QD3 quick disconnects made of black-painted brass are connected or separated (one male, one female), with Koolance designing valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are intended to ensure a degree of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.

This quick disconnect features a black straight female version with a hose connection via a compression fitting, with an inner diameter of 10 mm and an outer diameter of 13 mm.
