The Ranger Leveling Series tripods from Leofoto are equipped with a half bowl that compensates for ground unevenness of +/- 15°. This allows you to find a stable, horizontal position for your camera or spotting scope even in rugged terrain. The tripods in this series do not have a center column, making them more compact, lighter, and ultimately more stable. The included panoramic head allows for horizontal panning and comes with a quick-release plate. Thanks to the textured rubberized twist locks, loosening and securing each leg segment is quick and easy. The leg segments glide smoothly without twisting in the slightest. The tripod legs are fitted with rubber feet with a metal core, which can be replaced with spikes. These sharp metal feet are included in the package, allowing you to adapt the tripod to your specific use. The legs of this tripod are made from 10 layers of carbon fiber. The special diamond-shaped wrapping of these layers provides additional stability and vibration dampening while keeping the weight to a minimum. For the metal parts, Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloying elements. This corrosion-resistant material is characterized by high strength and good toughness, with a yield strength comparable to structural steel. All parts are machined from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines, making them significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto does not compromise on this either.
