The LMP USB-C Compact Dock 2 is designed for the generation of Apple MacBook Air and Pro with M1/M2 chip. The dock connects to the left side of the notebook and occupies two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Thanks to its clever design and a cutout at the bottom of the dock, the MagSafe port and the 3.5mm jack remain easily accessible even when the Compact Dock 2 is connected. The 6 high-performance ports of the Compact Dock 2 enhance the limited connectivity options of Apple notebooks with universal compatibility. For connecting additional monitors, there is a Thunderbolt 4 port supporting up to 8K@30 Hz and an HDMI 2.0 port supporting up to 4K@60 Hz. The Thunderbolt 4 port, with speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s, can be used for ultra-fast data transfers. Additionally, the dock features a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 and two USB 3.0 ports, each with 5 Gbit/s. Furthermore, the Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports provide up to 100 W to the host or connected peripherals according to the Power Delivery 3.0 standard. Lastly, the Gigabit Ethernet port enables fast network access.
