The Macro Flash Kit R1 is a unique wireless flash system designed for fully automatic flash photography in the macro range. The kit consists of two external flash units of the type SB-R200, which can be attached to the lens and triggered and controlled by the built-in flash of a D70/D70s or D200, or by an SB-800 used as a master unit. The exposure data relevant for the correct illumination of the subject, provided by the fully automatic TTL flash control, is communicated wirelessly from the camera's metering system to the external flash units. The kit also includes a mounting ring and ultra-close-up attachments for frontal illumination in the macro range, color filter gels, and adapter rings for the most common filter threads up to 77 mm. Additional flash units of the type SB-R200, SB-800, or SB-600 can be integrated into the multi-flash system, providing the photographer with the functions of Nikon's Creative Lighting System for both indoor and outdoor photography. The Macro Flash Kit SB-R1 is particularly suitable for use with a D80, D90, D300, D700, and D3.
