The A165E Series Emergency Stop Switch features a modular design that allows the switch to be detached to simplify wiring while still benefiting from the ease of use of a one-piece device. This emergency stop switch's direct-opening mechanism has a 3 mm minimum contact separation per EN 60947-5-1. It includes a push-to-lock, turn-to-reset direct-opening mechanism with a 3 mm minimum contact separation per EN 60947-5-1. The safety interlock mechanism prevents misuse and is tamper-resistant per EN 418. It has a low mounting depth of less than 28.5 mm below the panel and a 30 mm pushbutton head. The switch has an IP65 rating. A blank nameplate is sold separately in yellow vinyl chloride.
