The adapter is simply screwed onto the front of the pump and can be used when a buffer tank is not required. It features an O-ring seal. Please note: Do not screw in the adapter "dry," as this may twist the O-ring and cause leaks. Therefore, moisten the O-ring before screwing it in to avoid any issues. Note: Over-tightening the pump adapter can lead to breaking the plastic casing. The seal is already ensured by placing the O-ring and applying a light hand-tightening motion.
