• RDIMM: 192GB RAM, 384GB RAM
• LRDIMM: 384GB RAM, 768GB RAM

ECC DIMM, Registered DIMM, and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or upgrade completely to RDIMM memory.

Principles of memory configuration:

• The memory slots are organized in groups of 2.
• The different groups of 2 slots do not need to have the same capacities.
• Only the memory slots where the respective CPU is present can be used.

Memory configuration for good system performance:

• Distribute the memory evenly across the memory slots and evenly across the CPUs.
• If more than one CPU is present, the memory should be identically configured per CPU (mirrored to the other CPU).
