In today's world of electronics and technology, one inevitably encounters the phenomenon of "ESD" (electrostatic discharge). Many components, modules, circuit boards, etc., are highly sensitive to the electrical discharges that are completely normal and often unnoticed in everyday life. These voltage surges can destroy electronic assemblies or at least cause lasting damage. This means that a damaged component may continue to function for some time before succumbing to the originally ESD-induced damage, potentially causing further costly secondary damage.

For gentle mechanical and, above all, electrostatically safe cleaning, an antistatic tool is essential. Made from volume-conductive plastic and equipped with antistatic brush bristles, these tools are optimal for handling sensitive components and are indispensable in technology and service. With antistatic polyamide bristles and a handle volume resistance of approximately 10^5 ohms, the prevention or dissipation of static charges is well ensured.
