I bought it for the Tablet S6 and it works with it. Whether it works at all depends on the type of display. The S6 and also the S5e have so-called "Super AMOLED" displays. So from my point of view it should work. I can't give a guarantee. But maybe Galaxus will take the pen back if it doesn't work on the S5e.

Yes fits all S8 tablet variants. Have used it with both Ultra and Plus variants and works flawlessly.
