Hello Andrea I have also connected my Kave 5.1 to this sound card. This works excellently and without any noise. I can highly recommend it.

I have Windows 10 and I can't download the driver : platform is not supported it tells me. Should I return the product?

I'm using this under windows 10 - it doesn't need a separate driver.

I have a laptop and bought the Logitech 5.1 z506 set 2 days ago. Now I hear quieter on the left side than on the right and have a noisy sound. Does the box fix the problem?

Quite possibly, since the sound output then comes from the box here. However, if there is a problem with the speakers themselves, this will still not solve your problem. Is it possible to test the speakers on another device?
