Simple, good multi printer for many tasks
The multi-printer fulfils all small office tasks with good quality. The FAX has not been tested, so there is no judgement on it. For installation, it is best to go to the Brother website and once the operating system has been determined, the entire software package can be downloaded and installed and the printer put into operation. The printer is identical to the MFC-J4340DW model with the difference that it is a German model and comes with "ECO PRO" (EcoPro ink and toner subscription).

The right compromise
With a cartridge price almost 10x less than HP, it's really worth it.

Good mid-range printer
Satisfied with setup and early days of use. Printer does what I need (small home-office). Printing quality is adequate for my needs. Liked easy setup and much improved Brother drivers + iPrint program (print and scan). As a long-term Brother MFC printers user I remember the pain of the installation and drivers setup of the past. This one has been smooth both on WIndows and on Linux.
I have no data to assess the real cost of printing on the long term. Since I don't print large quantities for me is not the main issue. I focus on reliability, multi-functions (scan, fax, etc...), automated document feeder for scanning and stand-by power consumption.
On this side I am happy with the printer and I think it's good value for money.

Received order quickly. Followed the steps to set up, paper, ink. Turned on white screen with thick black line in centre and no buttons working.
