I am very satisfied with the external sound card, which works great with the Surface Pro 3 and 7.1 surround system. Install software (Win10) > activate 7.1 > plug&play > works as expected.

For me it was a clear mistake, I had hoped for too much and was perhaps a little naïve. The beloved bass sounds hollow and tinny + for lack of Thx and Dolby support, the product does not come close to comparable products for a little more money from e.g. Creative and Asus. I have a Teufel Concept E 300 Control 5.1 set and was otherwise always happy. It definitely doesn't seem to be for "better sound systems".
Otherwise a good cheap solution and certainly good for laptop users. The software seems outdated. The workmanship is good.
I connected the Sweex to an oldie gaming PC (with Windows XP) because the onboard sound was unusable (it kept dropping out while I was gaming) and I didn't have a free slot for an internal sound card. I was pleasantly surprised by the SWEEX, the sound was impeccable, at least for what I expect from a shooter.
Unfortunately, I cannot say whether the SWEEX also runs under Windows 10, as I have never tried this. Besides, the manufacturer's website only mentions WinXP, Vista, Win7 and Win8. My evaluation therefore refers explicitly to use under Windows XP, as I have put the SWEEX into operation.

The drivers supplied are for Win XP and Win Vista. The Win 7 driver (software download) works perfectly. The Win 8 driver is unusable and under Win 10 I have not yet managed to get the SPDIF/OUT to work without having conflicts with other sound hardware.

All buttons do not work. I am very disappointed. Can't mute, can't adjust the volume and generally the software is very outdated.

I can only recommend this to laptop users. I had the problem that my Logitech Z506 was noisy because my "sound card" didn't work. Bought the box, connected it, configured it, top sound!

I didn't buy the product at Digitec, but I'll buy my next one here. Now about the product, I find it really bad. When it runs, the sound quality is not bad, but not really good either. I also have the problem that when I unplug it as soon as I tinker with the PC, it doesn't work anymore. After a long time of uninstalling, installing and plugging it in, it works again. Then I've had a few times when I had an extremely loud noise on it, and I had to pull it out immediately because otherwise I would have damaged my hearing. It's better to buy something for 80-90 euros and be satisfied.

Very good sound card! It sounds great and I had no problems except one... The input line for the microphone unfortunately, which was not responding and making a weird noise in the headphones. So I had to put it directly into the computer to leave it produced great!

Top product, flawless processing, super-fast delivery. I have my own recording studio and therefore depend on the fastest delivery, and that has always worked great so far.... From my point of view, I can only recommend digitec,
Clear sound and very good price-performance ratio.
Significantly better sound reproduction than onboard sound.
Driver installation even works via Windows update, even without user input.
Top price-performance ratio. Works excellently on my Apple MacBook Pro (OSX Mountain Lion). However, it must be enabled with the "C-Media CM6206 Enabler for Mac OS X v2.1" (freeware).
