The NT1 Signature Black impresses with the silky-transparent sound of the legendary NT1-A, the perfectly straight bass frequency response of the black NT1, and the extremely low self-noise of the 5th generation NT1 – together creating an ideal combination for vocals, speech, acoustic guitars, piano and grand piano, orchestral strings, and many other sound sources.

Thanks to its minimal self-noise of just 4 dBA, the NT1 Signature Black is excellent for quiet instruments. With a maximum sound pressure level of 142 dB, there’s nothing stopping it from being used to record guitar and bass amplifiers, mic'd brass instruments, as a drum overhead, or for other loud sound sources. Its compact size and light weight also allow the NT1 Signature Black to be easily and stably positioned with simple stands.
