The GR Digital IV is equipped with a hybrid AF system that combines an external autofocus with conventional contrast autofocus. The externally developed AF sensor by Ricoh allows for super-fast and precise focusing in just 0.2 seconds.
The magnesium body, pop-up flash, and extensive manual settings are available. The camera supports RAW format and offers multi-zone metering with 256 zones. The advanced autofocus system with 9 measurement points ensures quick and accurate focusing from 30 cm to infinity (macro from 1 cm).
