The SilverStone ECU06 is a USB Type-C 3.2 interface card with an external USB-C port. Installed in a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, the card achieves a maximum bandwidth of 20 Gbit/s. Conveniently, the card is also backward compatible with USB 3.1 (10 Gbit/s), USB 3.0 (5 Gbit/s), USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s), and USB 1.1 (12 Mbit/s).

The card supports the USB Attached SCSI Protocol (USASP) and Multi-IN. Additionally, it comes with a low-profile slot cover, allowing installation in slim cases. The card also supports overcurrent detection. Thanks to XHCI (eXtensible Host Controller Interface), the card can be installed without drivers if supported by the operating system.
