The mechanism of the TM-m30III is designed to apply optimal tension to the paper depending on the paper diameter and feed speed. The result is an effective unrolling effect of the receipts.

Moreover, its paper-end detection works in both directions and can be utilized with spacers for paper widths of 80 mm and 58 mm.
