With the Synology Virtual Machine Manager Pro license, you can make optimal use of your VMM's cluster infrastructure. It enables migration and flexible scaling for balanced loads and resource allocation. VMM is licensed based on cluster size and offers various options for a wide range of requirements.

License Program

For the Virtual Machine Manager Pro (VMM Pro), licenses are available for 3 Node and 7 Node configurations. You can create a VMM cluster with up to 7 Synology NAS devices. Each license activates the VMM Pro features for one cluster for a period of one year. This license cannot be returned once it has been activated.

  • Before purchasing this license, please check the compatibility of your Synology NAS with VMM.
  • This license can only be applied to one Synology VMM cluster at a time.
  • Purchased licenses can be migrated.
