For example, this Star Reserve features 20 plies (instead of 16 in the Star model), perfectly cut and assembled onto a 10 mm thick shell. This construction requires a lot of craftsmanship and specialty, which is exactly what Tama offers. Additionally, the depth of 6.5 inches instead of 6, like in the Star, and the finish are very appealing with a slightly darker, vintage-looking amber oil finish.
