Product details

The slim form factor of MacBooks, Chromebooks, and similar devices often sacrifices connection options. When the device is charging, there are usually very few available slots for connecting external devices. The TERRATEC CONNECT C5 prevents this bottleneck. When connected to the USB Type-C port, it quickly adds a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery for charging the laptop, as well as an additional HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a card reader for all common formats. While the MacBook, Chromebook, or laptop is charging, users can easily read from an external hard drive, connect a monitor, and view vacation photos from the SD card—using only one port.
