Product details

Each input can additionally be configured as a pull-up or interrupt source. The I/O voltage can be manually switched between 3.3 V and 5 V. The I/O channels are routed externally via screw terminals with additional GND connections. An additional screw terminal provides the selected voltage externally. In typical applications, switches, buttons, and LEDs can be connected. The Bricklet does not have galvanic isolation from the Tinkerforge system. This means there is a direct electrical connection between the terminals of the Bricklet and the rest of the system. If this leads to unwanted connections, ground loops, or short circuits in the respective application, it is advisable to use it together with an isolator Bricklet. The IO-16 Bricklet 2.0 has a 7-pin Bricklet connector and is connected to a Brick using a 7p-10p Bricklet cable.
