The term Ukiyo-e is commonly translated as "pictures of the floating world" and refers to a genre of Japanese painting and printmaking that was developed during the Edo period. A world-famous work from this genre is The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which inspired the color design of these keycaps. Their labeling and design motif have been five-sided dye-sublimated into the plastic, making them highly resistant to wear. This makes these keycaps from Traitors extremely long-lasting. The labeling on the keycaps is not translucent.
