The Ultimaker S5 Air Manager is a cover for the top of the S5 3D printer. This cover enhances the printing results of complex technical materials by retaining heat in the print area and reducing drafts. At the same time, an EPA fine particle filter captures up to 95% of the fine particles generated during the printing process of certain materials. The physical barrier to the printer's build chamber also increases workplace safety by preventing interference with the running machine.

The Ultimaker Air Manager is integrated into the manufacturer's ecosystem. It connects to the 3D printer via the UMB port. The Ultimaker Cura software provides custom profiles and guidance for the recommended use of the Air Manager. Depending on the material, it automatically recommends an open or closed build chamber and regulates the fan speed of the cover.
