The new KAT6A SLIM patch cables from the SLIM brand set new standards in networking technology. These thin cables facilitate patching for 10 Gigabit applications due to their extremely flexible and slim design.

These flat patch cables are twisted in pairs, shielded, and meet the requirements to transmit 10, 100, 1000 MBit, and now even 10 Gigabit.

They also support Power over Ethernet transmission according to IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at. Additionally, this cable features our specially developed lace end design, characterized by easy pressing of the latch and its narrow and short form factor.

Application: Typical application areas for SLIM patch cables:

• Overcrowded server or network cabinets or cable ducts
• Switches with high port densities: with very short cables, you can easily patch from switch to switch or switch to panel without a cable management panel
