Die Box S ist Xiaomis erster Streamingplayer mit 4K-Unterstützung, den man offiziell auf dem deutschen Markt bekommt. An dem kleinen Kästchen fand sich noch Platz für eine USB-A-Buchse und einen kombinierten Kopfhörer/SPDIF-Ausgang, aber nicht für einen Ethernet-Port.
