The initial setup of the receiver is completed with just a few button presses. Clear and easy-to-understand on-screen menus simplify further settings and daily operation.
The two reception parts (TWIN Tuner) of the HRT 8770 TWIN require no complicated settings, additional cables, or special antennas. Once the initial setup is complete, both reception parts are automatically available. While recording one channel, it is possible to switch to another channel. Of course, the HRT 8770 TWIN can also record two programs simultaneously. This can be done either at the push of a button or via a timer. While the receiver is recording, it can simultaneously play back existing recordings.
Time-shifted television (Timeshift) is also possible. To use the recording and timeshift function, a USB hard drive simply needs to be connected to the receiver.
The receiver is also suitable for receiving unencrypted channels of digital cable television.
