Yongnuo YN508 is an innovative LED lamp ring consisting of two independent parts. It can be combined to form a 40 cm diameter ring or used as two separate light sources. Each component consists of 240 high-power LEDs, with one emitting light at a color temperature of 3200 K and the other at 5500 K. The light generated by each group of LEDs allows for continuous adjustment of the light output and temperature from 3200 K to 5500 K. The natural light characteristics ensure a high CRI (95+). The front of the lamp features a diffusion plate that protects the diodes from damage while scattering light and providing a pleasant softness. The two parts connected to the ring light allow for a smartphone to be attached to the center of the ring, making it easier to take photos and videos. Lamp control can be implemented using control panels or wirelessly through a mobile application on a smartphone. The program allows for grouping and controlling many light operation parameters simultaneously. The YN508 boards can be powered by 12 V / 2 A power supplies or lithium-ion batteries with NP-F series (one power supply or battery per panel). With two power modes and the ability to configure the panels in various ways, the lamp is a versatile device suitable for both studio and outdoor use. Each board has three standard 1/4-inch fasteners for mounting on a bracket or combination of brackets. A tripod lamp with a 16 mm diameter pin can also be attached, and the angle of inclination of the lamp can be adjusted.
