The ZM-VE350 from Zalman is a black external hard drive enclosure designed for 2.5-inch drives. It is primarily made of aluminum, which not only gives it a nice feel and appearance but also helps with effective heat dissipation from HDDs to the environment. Features of the VE350 include ISO mounting, an easy-to-navigate menu, and a one-touch backup function.

The enclosure has a USB interface for communication with the computer. Thanks to the latest USB 3.0 standard, transfer speeds of up to 5 GB/s are possible, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0. A suitable USB 3.0 micro-B to USB cable is included in the package. Additionally, two small screws for securing the SATA drives and a screwdriver for quick installation are also provided.
