6. Panasonic 45mm f/2.8 Leica DG Macro Elmarit Mega OIS

The Leica construction is characterized by minimal distortion, reflections, and ghosting. This is ensured by the recognized strict Leica standards in design and manufacturing. The lens consists of 14 elements in 10 groups. An aspherical element and an ED element allow for an extremely compact design without compromising quality and effectively highlight the advantages of the Micro Four Thirds standard. Particularly valuable in the macro range is the OIS image stabilizer, which effectively suppresses motion blur during handheld shots or in low-light conditions.

Focusing is achieved through an internal focusing system with three movable lens groups. This enables consistently high image quality across all distances from infinity to 0.15 m (1:1), and the size of the lens remains unchanged. At the same time, focusing for both photo and video is smooth and quiet. A switch on the lens allows for limiting the focusing range to 50 cm. With a focal length of 45 mm, equivalent to 90 mm in full-frame terms, the Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 2.8/45 mm Asph./OIS is also excellent as a lightweight telephoto and classic portrait lens.

When used on a Lumix G system camera, it supports the variable contrast AF system with features such as face detection. Seven aperture blades create a uniformly circular aperture, which produces a beautiful, smooth blur for subject details outside the depth of field at larger openings. The Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 2.8/45 mm Asph./OIS is equipped with a solid metal bayonet, and the multi-layer coating of the lens elements ensures high-contrast image reproduction without reflections or ghosting.

With the Leica DG Telephoto lens, which offers a brightness of F2.8 - 4.0 and a focal length of 50-200 mm, all possibilities are open: from beautiful portraits to ultra-telephoto shots. The robust lens provides protection against dust, splashes, and cold, making it extremely reliable even in adverse weather conditions and ready to tackle any challenge. Leica lenses are designed to meet the highest demands for contrast, resolution, structure, and color nuances. The elaborate design of the lenses not only allows for brilliant sharpness up to the edges but also avoids distortions that can be distracting in the wide-angle range and reproduces lines accurately. Even in difficult lighting conditions, your shots will appear natural. The H-ES50200 has a good balance thanks to the built-in image stabilizer, which effectively eliminates blurriness and camera shake that can easily occur while shooting. This allows you to capture lifelike subjects even without a tripod. The extremely sharp images will impress you right out of the box. In the future, bad weather will no longer prevent you from seeking out fascinating subjects. The H-ES50200 is dustproof, splash-resistant, and cold-resistant, designed to withstand harsh weather conditions without compromising safety. Whether in summer at the beach, in winter on the ski slopes, or in the rain in the city, your creativity knows no bounds. The lens offers this functionality in combination with Lumix cameras that have protection against splashes, dust, and cold. Many Lumix G lenses are optimized for video recording, allowing for easy aperture adjustments without sudden exposure changes, as well as silent zooming and focusing for optimal audio recordings.
