2. Noctua NA-FC1 Fan Controller
The NA-FC1 is a compact, highly flexible controller for 4-pin PWM fans. It can be used both independently for manual speed control and in combination with the automatic fan control of PC motherboards. 6. Noctua NA-FH1 8x Fan Hub
The NA-FH1 is a high-quality, efficiently protected 8-channel PWM fan hub that allows for the operation and control of up to eight PWM fans simultaneously via a PWM motherboard connection or standalone controllers like the optional NA-FC1. Fans without PWM can be controlled by adjusting the input voltage. Includes a 3 x 12 V PWM to SATA adapter for additional fan power. If the 4-pin PWM connector on the motherboard does not supply enough power (below 1 A) and the fan flickers white at startup, this indicates an unstable power supply. In such cases, connect the fan to another 4-pin PWM connection or use the supplied adapter to ensure stable performance.
9. Akasa FC.Six
To adapt the cooling performance and noise level of the PC to personal and changing requirements, fan controllers allow direct access to the speed of the fans. The PC accessory specialist Akasa offers several such solutions for the 3.5 or 5.25-inch bay of a case. The FC.Six is a controller for the 5.25-inch bay. It is particularly suitable for cases with a brushed aluminum front, as it is made from the same material. However, even in combination with other materials, this elegantly designed fan controller in black, featuring blue LEDs over the individual channels, is likely to be an aesthetic enhancement.
In terms of functionality, the FC.Six is impressive, as it allows the speed of fans on up to six channels to be regulated, even down to a complete stop. Each channel provides a high output of up to 20 watts, allowing multiple fans to be operated together via a Y-cable. The FC.Six itself is connected to the power supply with a four-pin Molex connector. The package includes a manual and screws for mounting in a free 5.25-inch slot. Before purchasing, it should be noted that the knobs of the fan controller protrude 10.2 millimeters, which may prevent the front door of cases from closing properly.
10. Phobya 4Pin PWM to 4x 4Pin splitter
With this PWM splitter from Phobya it is possible to power up to 4 PWM fans at the same time and to transfer the PWM signal of the first fan to all 4 fans. This makes sense for large radiators, for example.
The splitter is very compact and can easily be accommodated in the housing. The adhesive tape on the back allows the board to be attached anywhere in the housing, but optionally also with two screws on the outside holes.
